When a young WWI soldier who dies on the battlefield, he finds that his story is only beginning. Resurrected by arcane science, he finds himself pressed into service in a war that he can’t even hope to understand.

His allies are horrors, scavenging the weak and the dead for more bodies with which to feed the war effort. The enemy is even worse: a nightmare of living war machines and endless ranks birthed by monstrous mothers. The factions are beyond good and evil, right and wrong. The war has no end; no point beyond the humiliation of the enemy.

Promised a ticket home if he can complete a suicide mission deep into the enemy’s territory, the soldier will fight horrors beyond imagination. But what will he have to become in order to survive?

Rumors of War is currently a competitor in the November competition at Zuda Comics, the webcomic initiative of DC Comics, publisher of Batman and Superman.

If you like it and want to see more of it drop by and vote for Rumors of War, because we want to show you more of our little beast.

How to Vote for us, should you so desire:

1. You'll need an account at Zuda, but this is pretty quick. They send you an email confirmation. It should also take you back to the site. Their captcha is actually case sensitive, so be on the look out for that.

2. Go to Rumors of War, and click on the VOTE button. It'll change from Red to Tan.

3. Then add the comic to your favorites - this counts towards the final tally as well. They made the button nice and hard to find, but it’s right below the vote button.

4. If you dig, please spread the word.

Thanks for your support!
